FAQ'S - YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Please reach us at thepawpac2025@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The Paw Pac provides services in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and some areas of Port Moody.

 We accept e-transfers and cash.

At this time, The Paw Pac has a very liberal cancellation policy. Walks and Home visits can be cancelled as late as 1 hour before pick up. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

The Paw Pac walks rain or shine. I will only cancel a walk due to weather if it is unsafe for me to pick up or drop off your fur baby.

Not at this time. Please email us at thepawpac2025@gmail.com, call or text me at (604)653-20411.

I believe in being prepared. I always carry water on our walks, even in the rainy and winter seasons. I also keep backup water stored in my car.

Yes, The Paw Pac will offer your doggo treats on our walks. If your pup has allergies, we ask that you supply your own treats.

Yes! However, some dogs may not be suitable for all of the services offered by The Paw Pac. This is due to their age, size, or neuter status.
For example:

  • Pac Walks are not always a good fit for some non-neutered dogs. We will have to consider their temperament and the group's reaction to them.
  • Large breed puppies may not be suited for the amount of exercise and play that a Pac Walk offers.

No, dogs with a history of biting or reactivity need specialized training that is outside of my scope.

At my discretion, I may work with a dog independently that has had one or two very mild instances of situational aggression, as long as the circumstances that triggered the behavior are not present in my care. For example, a dog that has growled at a toddler or does not like men.

No, but I may be able to refer you to a local trainer.

I am open to discussing the use of an e-collar if an owner requests it.

Yes, I use a variety of leashing options depending on the dog's needs, including long leashes and tethering for those with unreliable recall.

I primarily visit off-leash-friendly trails instead of enclosed off-leash parks.

I generally work Monday to Friday, but special arrangements can be made.

Dogs love to have fun, and some enjoy playing in the mud and water. I will do my best to wipe your dog down before returning them. For an additional fee, I can also hose them off(assuming the dog is ok with this) and towel dry them before they go home.  We can discuss drop-off instructions in our meet and greet.
